Lamarque Legacy
Behind Lamarque Crescent City Ford is Ronnie Lamarque, a Louisiana native and respected business leader who has been in the automotive industry for over five decades.
Ronnie began his career in 1970 and is now the owner and president of Lamarque Motor Company and the Lamarque Automotive Complex, which houses Ford, Lincoln Black Label, Collision, Quick Lane, and Parts & Service operations. Over the years, his dealerships have expanded to include Mercedes-Benz of Mobile, AL and, most recently, Lamarque Crescent City Ford, which opened in 2022 as the area's only Ford Pro Commercial Vehicle Center.
A Legacy of Excellence
Ronnie Lamarque is recognized nationally and locally for his contributions to the automotive industry. He has served on Ford Motor Company's prestigious National Dealer Council, won the Ford Chairman's Award, and was honored as Louisiana Dealer of the Year. His Mercedes-Benz store in Mobile, AL has also earned the coveted Best of the Best Award, representing the highest standard of customer service and operational excellence.
Beyond Automotive
Ronnie's success extends beyond the showroom. In 1988, his colt Risen Star, son of the legendary Secretariat, captured national attention by winning both the Preakness Stakes and the Belmont Stakes and earning the Eclipse Award for Champion 3-Year-Old Colt.
An entertainer at heart, Ronnie is also known for his music career. A Louisiana Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, he has performed at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas and even appeared on America's Got Talent, finishing among the top contestants out of 60,000 entries. His albums, including 17-71, Once Upon a Time, and A Song for You, showcase his lifelong passion for music.
